OUR mission was to transform the AIG Atl office into a dynamic, memorable space. using intentional design to craft collaborative wall graphics, framed booth art, staircase features, and glass distraction markers that inspire and engage both employees and clients.
DESIGN STORY
The design story for the AIG Innovation Hub came to life through the navigational system developed for the nine-floor space. Wayfinding was not approached as a simple tool for orientation—it became the narrative backbone of the environment, unifying every level of the experience.
Guided by the core concept “From Terminus to Tomorrow,” the building was envisioned as a key to the city: a place of movement, transformation, and access. Drawing from Atlanta’s origins as a rail hub and its identity as the “City in the Forest,” a spatial naming system was created to reflect the city’s evolution. Each floor was tied to a specific neighborhood, moving chronologically from the oldest to the newest, representing stages of growth and progress.
This layered approach grounded the wayfinding system in Atlanta’s geography and cultural fabric, providing both clarity and cohesion across all floors. The visual language echoed the city’s directional flow and urban landscape, transforming signage and environmental graphics into narrative anchors. The result was a living map—one that connected employees and visitors to the story of Atlanta while embodying the Innovation Hub’s mission of connection, momentum, and identity.

Extend the narrative beyond the physical environment, our team concepted an AR walkthrough experience. By scanning a QR code, visitors would be able to unlock an augmented reality layer that brought the story of Atlanta to life—learning about neighborhoods, history, and culture as they navigated the building. This added a layer of interaction and storytelling that made the space not only functional, but immersive and educational.
IMMERSIVE SPACIAL EXPERIENCE
We designed across multiple environmental touchpoints—wayfinding, stairwell murals, collaborative wall systems, and booth artwork—each intentionally crafted to infuse the space with Atlanta’s spirit and AIG’s forward-thinking vision.
